WPC Facing Forward To 2023

The start of a new year is a wonderful time to reflect on accomplishments and center energy towards the horizon. The year 2022 made a significant contribution to the WPC storyline as we invested in our future with the move to our new office, sustained our enduring emphasis on growing our collaborative culture amongst our team members, invested in growing our community impact, and earned recognition for our award-winning safety practices. In 2022, WPC was breaking ground, topping out, and cutting ribbons on a variety of community-centric projects – with the senior living and multifamily markets being especially active.

WPC's New Home - Serving each other, our customers, and our community

At our core, WPC is focused on inspiring our people to be their best and in doing so – delivering the highest possible construction experience for our clients. It is as true today as it was in 1974 – at WPC we are a family! And in 2022, our family made some strategic choices about how to efficiently evolve our business into the next 50 years of our existence - welcome to our new home at 529 East Crown Road, Suite 140 in Ocoee, Florida.

Breaking Ground, Topping Out and Cutting Ribbons

The year 2022 will be remembered as a year of adaptability. As the construction and development industries were increasingly called to develop new skills to maneuver the post-covid world in which labor costs, supply chains, and interest rates are quite literally shaping the landscape in which we work.

Working to serve the growing needs of our established base of long-time clients and partners, WPC began projects like Madison Landing Phase II in partnership with Orange County, American Residential Communities and New South Residential. And we launched two new multifamily projects with Park Square CRE, the commercial development arm of Orlando-based Park Square Homes. We also began work on a full line up of exciting new projects, check out this story on Union Terminal Warehouse.

Reinvigorating and Renovating

Our renovations department was especially active with a record-breaking number of starts in 2022; many with long-time clients who are trusting us to see them through the next phase of their project's evolution. We consider this a true testament to strength of our partnership centered culture and to the enduring quality of the projects we construct. Take a look at some of our recent renovation projects.
