WPC - Community Impact Report

Giving back to the communities in which we live and work has been a core part of The WPC Way for nearly 50 years.  WPC has donated over two million dollars to support local nonprofit organizations that are making unique and significant strides toward improving the quality of life for the communities in which we live, and work. As a company, we have shared our talents in donating over one thousand hours to serve and enrich the lives of those living in the Central Florida community.

WPC collaborates with Honor Flight to create a nation where all of America's veterans experience the honor, gratitude, and community of support they deserve. Participation in an Honor Flight trip gives veterans the chance to share this momentous trip with other veterans, to remember friends and comrades lost, and share their stories and experiences with each other.

Touched by Type 1 is a Central Florida nonprofit, whose mission is to elevate awareness of Type 1 Diabetes, raise funds to find a cure, and inspire those with diabetes to thrive. Touched by Type 1 has officially kicked off dance season in their newly expanded dance studio! WPC is a long-time supporter of the great work being done at Touched by Type 1 and was honored to manage this exciting project - getting the space up and running for dancers to enjoy.

It was a perfect day for OCA’s 3rd annual 10K-5K-Fun Run on Saturday, October 29, 2022.  What we love about OCA is that they meet each person they serve - where they are and figure out what they are great at, so that they can maximize programs to bring out those abilities, creating greater independence for them. “Independence” could mean a grade schooler learning to tie his own shoes, a teenager gaining skills to start a conversation and make friends, or a young adult learning to prepare a meal. WPC is honored to be one of the sponsors again this year. Thanks to all WPC team members who came out to support. And congratulations to WPC President and CEO, Jeff Forrest for winning Men’s 50 – 59.

Learn about our ongoing commitment to the important work being done through Faine House. "From the moment I met Jeff Faine, and those supporting his vision, we knew that the Faine House would be a great choice. I felt the passion of their story of how young adults aging out of the foster system were in dire need of a safe and supportive environment, and that we could assist in contributing to that effort by being a part of the construction of the facility." Jeff Forrest- WPC President/CEO
