WPC – Renovating and Realigning – As Time Goes By

As hotel, resort, and timeshare properties mature leaders in the hospitality industry actively invest in ongoing refurbishments, upgrades, and enhancements – to ensure they are staying competitive, while enhancing guest experience. WPC has a long (45+ year) history of partnering with leaders in the hospitality industry on fulfillment of their new construction as well as their renovation projects.

WPC is underway on a renovation project for The Hilton Grand Vacation (HGV) Ocean 22 Hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This 220-unit renovation project will become the 28th project that WPC has completed for HGV over our 20+ year relationship. WPC partnered with Hilton several years ago to complete two large new resorts in the Central Florida area: the Tuscan-themed Tuscany Hilton Grand Vacations on International Drive and the Bermuda-themed Hilton Grand Vacations SeaWorld - in total comprising more than 800 units and 15,000 square feet of commercial space. WPC has also partnered with Hilton to complete several exciting projects outside of Florida, in Chicago, Las Vegas, and South Carolina.

Another long-term client (of 40+ years) is Orange Lake Resort. Since 1981, WPC has completed 150,000 square feet of commercial space; 253 2-story villa buildings; 672 units within 6 to 8 story block and hollow core buildings along with associated site work. Plus, forty-two renovation projects and 10 major roadway/site improvement projects. In addition, we have completed eleven renovation projects in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Las Vegas, Nevada and Grand Geneva, Wisconsin.

WPC is currently prepping to start work at Holiday Inn Club Vacation at Orange Lake, a $2M renovation project involving the realignment of Hartzog Road to accommodate a new entrance at the busy Flamingo Crossings (near 429).
