FLAMINGO CROSSINGS – UPDATES ON NEW HOTELS

Disney's master-planned mixed-use center Flamingo Crossings is a half-million square feet of retail, 5,000 hotel and timeshare units, and over 1,000 apartment units slated for the 450-acre development Flamingo Crossings is a major addition to the State Road 429 corridor of Winter Garden. Winter Garden is one of the fastest-growing zip codes in Florida, positioned between metropolitan Orlando and the tourist corridor.

Flamingo Crossing’s hotel plans for the development total 1,750 guest rooms, comprised of seven hotels including the completed TownePlace Suites and a SpringHill Suites. Of the remaining five hotel projects, four are with the same developer Doradus Partners. The Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton are being led by McCorkle Construction and Winter Park Construction (WPC) is leading both the Residence Inn by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott. There is one additional hotel, Hampton by Hilton scheduled to be completed later in 2021.


The Residence Inn by Marriott at Flamingo Crossings is $30.5M all-suite brand, combining upscale style and functionality: suites are spacious featuring full kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas in every room. A total of 223 units in 204K square feet. The project is set for completion in March 2021. Winter Park Construction is the General Contractor, Baker Barrios Architects, Inc is the architect and the developer is Doradus Partners.


The Fairfield by Marriott at Flamingo Crossings is a $25M resort. A total of 273 units in 115K square feet. The project is set for completion in January 2020. Winter Park Construction is the General Contractor, Baker Barrios Architects, Inc is the architect and the developer is Doradus Partners. The two Marriott branded hotels share outdoor amenities including common areas and sports courts.
