Madison Landing II: Redefining Comfort and Community in Orange County

In collaboration with Orange County, American Residential Communities, and New South Residential, LLC, WPC completed Madison Landing II earlier this year. This remarkable $16.9 million project encompasses a 94,488 sq. ft. affordable senior housing community located on 5.4 acres near Millenia Mall in Orlando, Florida. With the successful completion of Madison Landing II, Orange County's commitment to providing affordable housing for low-income seniors takes a significant leap forward.

Addressing the Affordable Housing Crisis: Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings through public-private partnerships (PPP), the county has been able to initiate numerous projects aimed at addressing the housing affordability crisis. By removing regulatory barriers, creating new financial resources, targeting areas of access and opportunity, and engaging the community and industry, the 10-year Action Plan presented by the Housing for All Task Force is making significant strides in ensuring housing for all.

Madison Landing II is the result of a monumental endeavor that began with the groundbreaking ceremony held in December 2021. The completion of this $16.9 million affordable senior housing community, encompassing 94,488 sq. ft., is a testament to the dedication and perseverance of WPC, Orange County, and their partners. By working together, they have provided a much-needed solution to the housing crisis faced by low-income seniors in the area.
