Premiere Assisted Living & Memory Care Community – Opens in Melbourne

WPC recently completed The Blake at Viera - an assisted living and memory care community located at 5700 Lake Andrew Drive in Melbourne, Florida. The new community provides 101 units comprised of 33 memory care and 64 assisted living - within an 88,000 square foot, two-story building. The architect for the project is Young, Wier + Boerner Architecture, PLLC.
The Blake at Viera is located in a top 25, master-planned community along Florida’s historic Space Coast and features resort-style comfort and service. Hospitality and luxury are blended to create an exceptional senior retirement community. For future resident information.
The Blake at Viera is the second project that WPC has recently completed with developer, Cardinal Ventures. The Blake at Hamlin - a new assisted living and memory care community located at 4814 Hamlin Groves Trail - North of Hamlin Town Center in the fast-growing Horizon West area of Orange County.
Memory care communities popping up in growing areas always spark a bigger conversation about long-term housing decisions in general. Watching parents downsize made me realize how little I understood about the builders behind these projects, and a neighbor going through her own build kept referencing her KB Home timeline whenever customization questions came up, which ended up saving both of us from some bad assumptions. It's not the most exciting research to do, but for something as permanent as a house, having that groundwork done ahead of signing anything makes the whole process noticeably less stressful.
