New residents moved into Pendana Senior Residences at West Lakes (located at 750 S. Texas Ave) last spring – the community caters to residents 62 and older.
The three-story, 119K square-foot building includes 24 units earmarked for those who are homeless as well as nine for veterans. LIFT Orlando, a 501(c) (3) organization accelerating community transformation in the downtown Orlando area, is the owner of the $23.9 million, 120-unit Pendana Senior Residences at West Lakes. Atlanta-based Columbia Residential is the Developer.
The complex adds to the $40 million, 200-unit Pendana at West Lakes mixed-income housing complex across the street. Winter Park Construction (WPC) was the general contractor for both phases and is actively engaged in the construction of several senior living communities and working on many projects involving the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
